Medical Services & Compounding Disclosure
Effective date: March 14, 2025
Medical care, prescription decisions, and dispensing are handled by independent licensed professionals. Prescription required. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. Provider availability and medication eligibility vary; additional costs may apply.
Wellness platform vs. medical care
BioCoach CJ provides wellness education, non-clinical coaching, membership tools, and administrative access to independent medical services where available. BioCoach CJ is not a pharmacy and does not independently diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or compound or dispense drugs. Any medical evaluation or treatment is provided by a separately licensed healthcare professional who exercises independent clinical judgment.
Prescription and eligibility requirement
Prescription products may be obtained only following an individual clinical evaluation and when a properly licensed prescriber determines that treatment is medically appropriate and issues a valid patient-specific prescription. Access to a membership, catalog or consultation does not guarantee approval, ongoing treatment, a particular medicine, dosage, refill, or quantity. Providers may decline, modify, discontinue, or refer treatment when clinically appropriate.
About section 503A compounding
When lawful and clinically appropriate, a prescription may be sent to an independent state-licensed compounding pharmacy operating under section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Such pharmacies fill valid patient-specific prescriptions subject to applicable law. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved; FDA does not evaluate their safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing as it does for approved drugs. Compounded drugs are not automatically equivalent to approved or generic drugs, and compounding is subject to legal restrictions.
Prescriber and pharmacy information
Before receiving medical care or medication, patients will be informed of the responsible healthcare professional, professional licensure or means to verify it, the actual dispensing pharmacy and required pharmacy labeling, and the applicable clinical consent and privacy notices. Medical and pharmacy services may not be available in every state or for every requested treatment.
Medical costs and fulfillment
Membership does not by itself purchase a prescription or a drug. Medication, laboratory, delivery, or other charges that are not included in a selected plan will be identified before purchase. Medical records, prescription requests, safety concerns, side effects, and refill questions should be directed through the designated secure clinical or pharmacy channels, not to the wellness coach.
Emergencies and medication safety
This website is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency care. Do not delay medical attention based on any site content or coaching advice. Follow only the instructions provided by your prescribing clinician and dispensing pharmacist; never use general educational content to decide prescription dosing.
